Extra lights for Matterport6049

Matt19 private msg quote post Address this user
Do you guys/gals find it helpful to add extra lights to your matterport camera as it is scanning? The guy I was using before I finally pulled the trigger on a matterport had an extra light Velcro'd to his matterport.

Similar to the light in the link below.

@DouglasMeyers

Interesteing. Do you always use them or only in really dark spaces? Can you give a link to one of your tours that you used them on?

Thanks!

I’m guessing that some people use extra lighting and others don’t. For those that use them do you or have you notice that they make a difference(ie worth it)? Or maybe this is just precautionary?

@DouglasMeyers regarding the Matterport link tour you shared. So I’m guessing there was no power? Therefore lighting became a necessity.

@DouglasMeyers When you say insurance you are talking about when people are making claims? What do you mean by Serv pro?

@DouglasMeyers

How did you get involved with Serv Pro? Did they approach you or did you pitch it to them? I'd like to see if I can get their business in my market!

Thanks!

That's an interesting idea. Has anyone ever noticed it causing issues with stitching?

I sell business an insurance tour, this provides a client with the before view of their business and whats in it so their insurance agents can give them a accurate view of what they have.

Yes I went to Serv Pro and they loved it...
Serv pro loves the idea that after the damage and when they are packing it up they will use my tour to put everything back exactly where it belongs...
