Hi All,

In the excellent Photography For Real Estate Blog by Larry Lohrman, a reader asks:

PFRE (27 November 2019) What Size Photos Should Real Estate Photographers Deliver?

After reading this blog post and the responses, do you have additional questions?

Best,

Dan

It really depends on their usage. For us, we contacted the local MLS providers and got their maximum recommended size. If images are uploaded to the MLS at the recommended size, no further processing is done on the server side, so the image quality is great. If they are too large, they get compressed and sharpened weird and look terrible. In the end, we provide several sizes for our clients:

MLS (Varies in size depending on the client's MLS service.)
Social Media (Max 2048px x 2048px.)
Print (Full resolution.)
4K (For large screen presentation.)
