Facebook recently introduced #3D posts. These posts allow users to interact with responsive 3D media inside of their Facebook newsfeed. To celebrate this new platform, our agency Tosolini Productions created a cube-shaped company #infographic. Each side of the cube, representing a core business strength, can be explored by clicking and dragging within the post window. The new system leverages the #glTF 2.0 file format, which is positioned as a universal standard for 3D models - just like the JPG or PNG file formats for images. While there are several limitations in the current implementation, we are excited about how this new type of post can tell stories and connect with audiences. #business #storytelling Created by our talented #VR designer Michael Gelon. Wow!!! Tosolini, you and your team are making a great job. What software did your #VR designer used to create this 3D model for this post? Congratulations! Jefferson Takeda TakedaSan.com.br IMG360.com.br |

Thanks @Queen_City_3D. @TakedaSan My VR designer used originally Blender, but ran into issues with the Blender .gltf exporter (the model wouldn’t work on mobile devices). So he switched to Substance Painter to finalize the materials and export. The 3mb size limit on FB is a challenge, so it's helpful to use a site like this - https://glb-packer.glitch.me/ - to save the textures as .jpeg for the .glb file |
