Hi Guys,

I just did my first scan, I know it didn't come out right, I set the start point in the workshop, but then the view is set to the floor, not sure what went wrong...please give your valuable inputs. This was a test scan I did of my own house. Please point out what I should have avoided if you can figure out what I must have done wrong.

The reason I asked if you clicked Publish, is because I'm new at this and several times could not understand why it was not accepting my start location but it was because I did not click Publish.

Yes, I did click on publish, initially, the model was loading from the room on the first floor, I then changed it to where it is loading from now as the starting location, but I'm not sure why it shows like it's looking down...!

@BabluN I noticed there were some rooms you didn't scan. My recommendation would be to close the doors to those rooms or at least use the trim so that they don't create artifacts in the 3D model.

Your end result for both dollhouse and floorplan will look a lot crisper if you do that.

I would add more light: turn on all lights, open all curtains.
