Example: Pano2VR Virtual Tour Shot with a Ricoh Theta Z1 DanSmigrod 2 9 dayslilnitsch (88): Must require flash or another plug-in as it doesn't appear to work on Safari on my iMac ~ Works in chrome. I tend to like services that work across the board not needing a disclaimer as to which browser or device to use
Software for pulling 2D Still Photos out of 360 Spherical Photos bryanhscott 9 15 daysbryanhscott (176): @Wingman Thanks very much for this additional legwork. Very helpful!

GSV views data, how to extract it? Wingman 3 2 monthsWingman (514): Got feedback from the client after I sent her all views data. She is impressed with results and she is going to send all data to the top management level. So far they have about 1000 panos done by me in a few different tours. They received about 80000 views on Google Maps in about 30 days. Plus I have another 1000 that I will publish as soon as I get a reply from Dee about combining some of them in one big model for publishing.
Theta Z1, the same bug with GPS precision? Wingman 5 2 monthsleonherbert (436): @Wingman the only suggestion is to ask Ricoh to attach the coordinates from the first image to the merged image. Does the theta store both the individual images as well? Is it an option. If so you can check the accuracy of the individual image. You can attach those coordinates to the merged image. There is software that can allow you to strip the gps coordinates from images, I can't recall what it is, it is a script that you run. I think the...
Video: GeoCV Replaces Ricoh Theta V to Publish to Google Street View DanSmigrod 2 2 monthsWingman (514): I believe you can do the same workflow with Matterport to avoid paying them $15 for GSV. However it is worth saving these $15 only if tour is very small(5-10 panos) and you have a Pano2VR Pro license. If it is bigger or much bigger you will spend a lot of time setting correct direction, default view and location for each panorama. It is a very time consuming task. The last time I published a commercial tour taken with Theta V to GSV it took me...
GSV: Panos dumped by Google somewhere in the ocean Wingman 4 3 monthsWingman (514): I have just checked my tour and it has been fixed. And the links between each pano also work so one can walk it from the start to the finish. What does not work properly is 360 icons for panos. Some of them are missing on google maps. Also still no score has been given to my account for these 31 pano tour. However I managed to do 2 reviews yesterday and I reached 7 level for local guides. Now it is a long road for me to the level 8 and even...
Video: Pano2VR Garden Gnome Software presentation at IVRPA Conference 2019 DanSmigrod 5 3 monthsWingman (514): So far I have used it to submit tours to GSV. I have Pano2VR Pro. I have learnt all related to GSV features of Pano2VR in a day doing a tour with 330 panos. I have not touched their custom virtual tour features yet, however I have seen a lot of custom tours done with Pano2VR and some of them are truly fantastic. The only thing is you really want to have two monitors for Pano2VR. It is impossible to fit Google Maps window, your pano explorer...
IVRPA Video: Thomas Rauscher | Pano2VR Garden Gnome Software DanSmigrod 2 3 monthsWingman (514): I just want to share the cool feature that some are obviously aware if they are using Pano2VR but I am sure most have no idea about it. After you publish your Matterport tour to GSV through Matterport you can get the whole tour downloaded to your PC with all 3d scan points converted to 360 panoramas in an excellent quality if you have Pano2VR. You also get them linked together as a tour even though there will be a lot of a mess with...
GSV, How to connect a Theta V outdoor tour with a Matterport tour nearby. Wingman 3 3 monthsWingman (514): I know there may be some delay but both tours have been on Google for at least 10 days and all linking inside each tour works properly. It is just no linking between each tour. I will try to get away with just downloading two closeby panos(one from each tour), link them and upload them back to GSV. I put their logo at nadir on the outdoor path but I do not really want it for their inside tours made with Matterport. It would take a lot of time...
Pano2VR Pro vs VirtualTour Pro Wingman 13 5 monthsWingman (514): it seems google has done with connections on my tour. I have lost a few shoots going over a bridge there so you are kind of jumping under it if you go to the next spot. I will probably redo the whole walk once I get a helmet mount for my Theta V. And it is still a lot to learn for me both for Pano2VR and for publishing tours on google map.

Best 360° Photo Stitching Application? c2astudio 2 1 yearron0987 (1153): I did a side by side comparison and I liked PTgui, overall stitching was just a little better with PTgui but overall color balance way better which is what sold me.
My Platform Before Matterport... Metroplex360 3 2 yearsron0987 (1153): I like it, what was the setup, DSLR, Nodal Ninja, and software would you mine share with us. Still looks great. Ron

Pano2VR Vs. Livepano (Kolor) ShahBatroukh 6 3 yearsdavemckean (52): Hi ShahBatroukh. When I first started my business I tried to avoid switching to MP as I had invested all of my capital into my drone technology and tested many 360 tour software before finally settling on Kolor's suite. I too loved the idea of the live video in a static panorama. There is a pretty step learning curve on how to make it look half decent. The one of the school is really good and I see few stitching errors around the video. An...
