How Do You Deliver The Final Product?919

BrianM private msg quote post Address this user
How do you deliver the final product after you scan a property? Do you send an email with text stating that "Here is your tour, here in the embed code, and attached are the stills"?

Do you mind posting a sample?

Also in the workshop there is an MSL Name and a MLS Listing ID, does that export to the MSL or is it just reference?

We send an email laying out the links and embed codes for both the MLS and non-MLS versions. The MLS references are for internal use and are not used to populate or automatically complete any MLS details for the agent.

In my view the best option is to think about the customer first, and plan the delivery accordingly.

Most of the people in real estate are not very tech savvy. So I would just send them the matterport tour link + photos OR combine photos/3D-tours/video in player and send a link to that.

As a message we have a very generic text, that highlights common problems with matterport and also gives some ideas for "best practice" use cases.

Regarding embedding, we will usually just tell that you can embed the player on any site. We will also post a link to an example of good embedding on one of our client's sites etc, so that they understand what embedding actually means. We tell them that embedding is as easy as embedding a youtube video but that they need access to their website system. We tell them to put us in touch with tech person if they want to embed the player.

Of course once you deliver more stuff to your customer, you know what they need and custom the delivery to suit them. Personally I think it is still terrible to surprise an average real estate broker with one-liner message + bunch of code that they have no clue about. In most of the cases here our customers do not have any clue how to embed anything on their site anyway.
