Blur faces GSV8287

Bryan private msg quote post Address this user
Hi,

i am having some troubles publishing a Matterport tour to gsv.

I have to blur out faces in just 5 360's. But when i use the option when uploading the tour it also blurs out the faces of a wall painting.

When i upload the tour on gsv trough matterport they automatically go straight online on gsv and not in the private folder so there is no more option to just blur out the faces that needs to be blured out.

Anyone who can help me out?

I've had a similar issue once before.

I basically downloaded a 360 snapshot from every camera position, manually blurred the ones that need blurring, then recreated the tour using Cupix, publishing to GSV through them.

It's tedious, but Matterport doesn't leave many options here.

Hysterical that the Matterport algorithm detects cartoon faces as faces!

Best Luck -

Keith

Hi Bryan,
As a long serving GSV pro can I say that in the early days Google were fanatical about blurring faces.
In reality they care very little any more.
If the faces belong to staff or people who have no objection to being shown, then I personally would not bother with blurring.

Matterport Face Blurring (Beta) versus CUPIX Blurring: Which do you prefer?

@Chemistrydoc

Wow! That's a workaround (that should not be necessary).

Happy Thanksgiving,
