Help! My latest MP scan won't upload...7976

I scanned a space last evening and cannot get the scan to upload to the MP site. I'm stuck at 0% and have tried everything I can think of. Anyone have any ideas??

I had this happen one time - rebooting iPad did not solve but connecting to a different WiFi network did - never happened again so not sure what was real culprit.

Have you tried uploading a a test scan ie 2 scans (no charge by matterport ) then trying your existing scan?

Is had same problem and no classic solutions solved my problem. I connected Matterport support, tried everything again. Finally, i had to back up the model to my computer, sent it to Matterport support by Google drive. They manually upload it. The following day i had another scan . Same thing happened. So i asumed there is a problem with capture program. I backed up my models to my computer, deleted capture from my iPad, reupload the capture application, restoee the models from my computer and start upload. Finally everything worked normally. It was long way but the only way to solve the problem...

Have you tried the following....?

1. Turn off your iPad
2. Turn on your iPad (double-check that you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi Network)
3. Duplicate the model
4. Change one thing (such as extending a trim line)
5. Upload the duplicated model

I have tried each of the above suggestions but to no avail. I will be placing a call to MP Customer Service, hoping that they can offer a solution. Thanks so much for the sage wisdom and willingness to help a brother in need.

I wonder if it is "struck" related to your Wi-Fi. Can you switch networks - even just for a minute or two? Fore example, tether to a smartphone 4G connection?

Today, same thing happened again. Is think there is a bug. I tried everything Dan has mentioned. Now i am backuping the models. I will delete the capture app, deinstall it, upload the model from my computer to iPad and try to process at capture app.

1. modifying one of your previously successful models (change trim) and re-upload?
2. doing a one scan model (no charge by Matterport)?

... to see if the problem is related to a specific model ...

Were you successful with #1 ... modifying one of your previously successful models (change trim) and re-upload?

For clarification, not the model that you are having trouble with, but with a model that previously, successfully, uploaded.

Hello Dan,

The issue was resolved only after uninstalling the capture app, re-installing it and uploading the scan. It's finally processing.

Thanks for the update. That's great news.

1. How do you uninstall the app? Simply delete it?
2. What about all your models? When you delete the Matterport Capture app, does that affect the models? (Did you have to do something about your models BEFORE deleting the Matterport Capture app?
