Create 360 Degree "Live" Photo tour7845

Amsterdam07 private msg quote post Address this user
Hi Ya

I was asked to create a 360 Degree "Live" Photo tour of a cycling event of a few minutes as to be the same as this example: https://www.facebook.com/caterpillarinc/videos/10153379301760764/

Can this be done with Cupix ( If not which software would suit best ) and any tips how to create and publish to Facebook?

Bit of a newbie so any advice welcome.

Kind Regards

Brahm Meyer

You can do this pretty easily with a Panono 360° camera (or any 360 video camera, but the Panono has the best quality I've seen for under $2,000). Then you can just upload the video to Facebook.

@Amsterdam07

At the high-end Pros-Consumer 360º video camera is the Insta360 Pro 2 (Pre-Order for $4,999) or Insta360 Pro ($3,500). The advantages of this 360º video camera (livestream, 360º photos, 360º video) are:

✓ quality of video
✓ long livestream

If you just need a few minutes of 360º livestream video, you might look at the Insta360 One ($289). Livesteaming to Facebook is super-easy: just connect your Facebook account and then go live. (The camera will shutdown to avoid overheating; so, if you need to livestream more than 30 minutes at a time, you likely will need a high-end 360º 1-click camera that is designed for extended use.

Here are more 360º cameras.

@immersivespaces

I was among the first that had a Panono (15 June 2016) via Indiegogo. I sold it on eBay because I was not happy with the stitching errors and workflow. At that time, Panono did not do livestreaming.

Perhaps when the company existed bankruptcy, they upgraded the camera for livestreaming?

Best,

Dan
