I wonder if you are saying too much in your emails when you reply to inbound inquires?
When I make an intro - matchmaker for someone that needs a Matterport Matterport Service Provider and a Matterport Matterport Service Provider - I see a lot of the first round of emails.
Often, the Pro says (way) to much - in my opinion.
✓ "Nice of Dan to connect us. How may I help you?"
Let the Client drive the conversion.
No need to:
1. give rates
2. explain that you will have to charge a travel fee
3. show examples
4. talk about availability
(I have seen many replies that could screen out a candidate that could get the gig if they waited for the Client to drive the conversation.)
You might be surprised that they don't ask or care about any of the info that you provided.
Stop selling. Start listening.
