Offline Fair-Solution with Oculus or Vive5268

mori private msg quote post Address this user
I just got a client request to provide a MP based virtual tour solution for a fair and as the wi-fi on crowded trade show┬┤s is often an issue (Bad or super expensive) as also the interaction with the users using mobile VR, they want a offline solution where the tour is hosted on a laptop and the users view can also be controlled via laptop while using Oculus Rift or a HTC Vive.

Features like Mattertags should also be supported.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have an answer to your question but I could use your quick help.
I haven't been able to get the Vive working even online through webVR.

Firefox version 55 with webvr support is running
SteamVR is connected to the vive and running firefox.exe
I visit https://matterport.com/gallery/
Still no image on the Vive HMD
Click the View In VR goggles on the bottom right, only cardboard option comes up
click Enter VR anyway
Still no image on the Vive HMD

Whats your procedure for successful Vive/oculus viewing?
