Matterport Billing Error4715

MP has billed me for the wrong amount. First they failed to submit last month payment and now they've hit me for 2 months for the wrong amount. In typical MP fashion calling MP just gets you "please leave a message" and no acknowledgement to my online inquire, not even a conformation of receiving my inquire. Even the mom & pop pizza joint up the road sends out a conformation that they received a inquiry.

Has anyone else experience a billing issue in the last month or so?

Have you tried online tech support via chat? I had a great experience last time concerning my Pro1 camera biting the dust. I was able to conduct everything via my cell phone while scanning with a borrowed camera in live chat with Maggie @ Matterport. They sent a new unit out with return postage for the old unit.

I have had 3 billing issues in 12 months. That's better than most batting averages in MLB. Shame on matterport!

I also submitted a ticket earlier this week regarding 3 months I was double billed. No response yet. I'll give them until Monday then I'll call until I speaks to someone personally.

They have everyone over a barrel... I can not risk getting in a battle with them, or I would send my credit card company after them.

So, I have models notated as Re-uploads and some Duplicates. We aren't supposed to be charged for either right?

What if they show up in Red Lettering? What does that even mean?

I should have asked these questions long ago!

Their billing is terrible - very random and no pattern to when the send out the invoices.

@Pixelray,
You are not charged for duplicate or re-uploaded models. If they are red, then they have been deleted from your cloud account.

Matterport just pulled $510.00 out of my account. About $250.00 more than they were supposed to. They did not give me my first 11 included in my plan. Plus charged me for a re-upload of a large property. Does anyone know if they have a BBB page?

Still no word from MP on my request for finance to contact me regarding my billing error. I have to call my CC company tomorrow and have them deal with MP.

Their billing practices definitely need to be adjusted!! There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to it. I have looked at my last 6 CC statements and there is not a single month any billing has occurred on the same day of the month.

It would also be nice to get some sort of e-mail a few days before stating that $XXX is being withdrawn on XXDate. They will regularly swipe hundreds, sometimes a thousand without warning when my bill is due. I've never had any issues with the amount, just the regularity of it.

My last billing cycle they hit me for the $99 plan fee each month, but didn't bill me for plan overages. Then out of the blue, my CC gets whacked for a whopper of two months of overages. Again, I went over my allotted plan and expected to pay more. But to just whack my CC for a large amount without warning kind of sucks. I will login and see what I can screenshot.

I've just noticed extra charges over the past few months. I'm now being charged for duplicates and reloads. I've also been charged for large models when it has 99 scans. A quick estimate puts it over usd $1000 additional over the past 3 months.
Not sure what's going on but I now have to go and spend the time checking one by one.

@Jamie Don't you hate when you need to go through others mistakes? It's not like we have so many other things to look after! This is one of my pet peeves. People need to get it together.

@Helen totally. Something happened a few months ago and this started happening. They are looking at it with the finance department. Hopefully they get it fixed. It shouldn't be up to us to find each one.
