The benefits of embedding an iGuide or 3d virtual tour into a website has been a hot topic lately. By embedding, you can have greater control of the user experience, add additional information on the page, and customize the look and feel of the presentation. Driving web traffic to your own website by embedding your tour there can keep people looking at your site instead of sending them to another URL.
Here is a brief tutorial on how to use embed code for two common website building platforms.
1. Open the editor
2. Choose the Add button
3. Select the More option
4. Click on the HTML code button
5. Click the Enter Code button that appears above the grey box
6. Copy your embedding code
7. Paste your embedding code in the space provided
The code you have entered will then show a preview that can be moved or scaled.
Here is a video showing the process:
The process for WordPress will vary depending on the type of theme and page builder you have installed but the principal is the same.
1. Log in to your WordPress admin page
2. Copy your embedding code
3. Add an element to your page, or find the appropriate content field
4. Paste your embedding code in the space provided
You can then make changes to the layout and size according to what your WordPress install and plugins allow.

IDXBroker has a cool option of embedding into a real estate agents featured listings so if someone is on their site and click on featured listings the embed shows up. This is cool but the real cool feature is that if a client goes on the agents site and does a search from a search bar and their listing is one that is in the search results and the web visitor clicks on it, the system uses the edited version that was done in dashboard and the embed shows. Could we do this with iGuide?
