Hi im a novice in this department so if this is a ridiculous question i apologise.
Is there any other way of hosting sensitive customer imagery besides your matterport site? Im assuming the imagery can be viewed by the matterport company, what would be the best option for companies who would want the VR experience but would like to secure image rights for themselves?

No can do. No other option other than to host with them. Their answer to it is to not scan sensitive stuff in the first place. P.S. You own the rights but can't do anything outside of what they offer.
