Matterport Floor Plan view not horizontal?3778

We draw floor plans for many clients and have access to their workshop as a Collaborator. I noticed recently many of the floor plan views in Workshop do not land horizontally but are a little skewed to left or right. We need to straighten them in Photoshop before we can draw the floor plan, which add to the time we spend drawing.

Because this happened with different people I'm suspecting it has something to do with Matterport rather than the individual photographers.

Anyone else notice this? Any note from Matterport? We don't have a camera so we would miss customer emails from Matterport.

Hi Petra, I have checked with some of my latest models and I haven't noticed any problem as the one you mention in your post.

From the Matterport front I have not received any communication about this issue.

Regards.

@jfantin Thanks, maybe just a coincidence then.

You really have to start the first scan parallel or perpendicular to a wall in order for the floor plan to be "square" or "level"... I'm guessing it's a human error (or lack of knowledge)... You can definitely tell them how to fix it, since it's very easy.
