Reopening Matterport Space & VR Core3605

Networker private msg quote post Address this user
Good morning!

I have a few quick questions. The scenario. We've shot and uploaded a Matterport Space, processed it in the Workshop and delivered it. If the customer wants to add area, to a finished tour, can the model be redownloaded to the Matterport Capture App and have more rooms added to the last adjacently scanned area?

The next questions have to do with VR. First, when the model is processed for VR do we have control of how many of the scan points become the VR floating balls? If so, how is that accomplished? And lastly, is there a fixed number of VR viewing points that can be incorporated into a model for VR? In an extremely large area, could there be more than 100 VR viewing points? We'd really appreciate the feedback!

@Networker If the model is still on your iPad you can add to it. Just open up that space and start scanning again. If you have deleted it from your iPad you won't be able to do this.

Workshop has been updated to edit the vr.

@Helen. So, does that mean we can convert as many regular scan points as we desire to VR scan points? Thanks Helen, in advance.

@Networker To tell you the truth I have not tried the vr editing yet, but it is there.

@Helen. Thanks for the heads up. Once you pointed me in the right direction-I explored it. The answer is yes. Each scan point becomes a VR scan point and you can leave it or hide it. Thanks for the pointer!
