Matterport Kit on Adorama: $2,195 (Pro2/Case/Tripod)

FYi, this Adorama kit does not come with a head or mount for the tripod. You'll need to add an Arca-Swiss compatible clamp at least. I am using one of my nice ball heads on a carbon fiber Induro tripod instead. The ball head makes it easy to level and convenient to adjust, especially if it has a lever lock clamp to attach the MPro2. What other mounts are professionals using?

The Pelican case is nice but only big enough to hold the MPro2 and charger. You actually won't use the pick-n-pluck foam block included. But you'll need to pad the edges with 1/4" foam. Fortunately, I had some from other hard cases. You can also fit a smaller iPad Pro beneath the charger if it has its own case.

What accessories do others think are necessary in a basic MPro2 kit?

	Considering the offers, I would be shocked if the Pro 3 doesn't finally arrive soon. However, I expect the Pro 2s to continue as good workhorse cameras for jobs into the future. As for the Adorama deal, I'd still recommend buying from B&H Photo. The B&H deal included a Nanuk case (one of the best made) and if you get a B&H Payboo account, they pay you back the amount equivalent to the sales tax, making the B&H deal cost even less than Adorama. B&H is a fine outfit and provides industry-leading customer service. When I ordered my latest Pro 2 from them, I wanted a Nanuk 940 (slightly larger) instead of their packaged 930 and they were happy to accommodate. B&H is a great outfit.
