I've been using my Insta360 One R for my first 20 360 shoots and really mainly using the inbuilt HDR (going from 3-9 depending on the room). It's been pretty good so far and the quality has been "good enough". Did some test shots on the Insta360 One R and the Theta Z1 and was immediately impressed by the amount of detail the Z1 has. Obviously bc of the 1 inch sensor. So I was looking to invest in another camera and this one literally came out of the blue bc it was out of stock at Amazon for weeks. I'll use my One R for more personal/adventurous stuff, and as a backup but looking to move to the Z1 as my main simply for the detail. Has anyone used the inbuilt HDR rendering for the majority of their shots and have you been happy with the results. I installed the Dual Fish Eye plugin already and watching videos on the how to's. My biggest fear with the dual fish eye is that are you not able to see the picture live or review until you reconnect to the camera. My mini ipad immediately disconnects when I start the plug-in so I'm assuming that's normal. And all videos I've seen so far basically give instructions on how to start it on the camera and press the button and hide...lol. Thanks! |

Try Downloading the Zillow 3D App and the Matterport App. Use these apps as a shooting app to preview images without having to upload anything to their servers. Select, Save Images to Camera in settings. Both Apps shoot in HDR and the quality kicks the Ricoh App's behind. Then pull the panoramic images from the camera onto your computer. This will skip the Dual Fisheye hurdles. | ||
