Matterport Models crashing in new Matterport 3D Showcase app10608

Since yesterday, my models are crashing in the updated Showcase app.

Haven’t sent a support request to MP yet, was wondering if anybody else has encountered any issues and maybe solved them already?

Here how it shows up:

All downloaded tours from my own cloud with “Walkthrough” transitioning in the reel all crash after 1-3 slides.

Downloaded tours from others (albeit I had only loaded several with “fade” transitions) run perfectly.

So, not entirely sure if the Walkthrough transition or the fact that they are from MY cloud account could trigger the bug.

My tours work perfectly on the internet.

have tried restarting, as well as offloading and reinstalling the Showcase app already.

Any feedback would be welcome.

I haven’t ran into any issues yet on my iPhone 7plus. I’ll take a look at a couple of tours on my current iPad Pro tomorrow

I tried new and old tours large & small with and without walkthroughs on my iPad this morning and no crashes

@schaferu is the tour active “public” if so, I could try the link in showcase on my end to see if it may be something with the particular tour

@schaferu same case on my iPad Pro going into the 3rd transition I am met with the oops model not available. I would open up a ticket with Matterport to see what may be going on. Outside of the guided tour I am able to navigate the model just fine

Reporting back with update.

Support began looking into the matter a month ago, and despite several promises unfortunately this has not been fixed yet and my Showcase App has remained unusable ever since, a real inconvenience.

Apparently several users reported the issue.

And we wait...
