I know it's a lot easier to complain that to praise, but just thought I'd pass along that I sent a request to Matterport Support to restore a deleted model that I needed back and they had it back in my account in less than 10 minutes.

I was very surprised and delighted by the quick response.

Kudos to Matterport on that support case!

Here is the THING.... they are keeping these models and Delete does not mean Delete.... When CCPA comes into effect in January this would be a bad thing if it happened in California. I had heard that they are going to change this and offer a real deletion but like all things Matterport that remains to be seen.

If you are not familiar with CCPA California Consumer Privacy Act it appears BUYERS will have the right to delete all home pictures after purchase. This is long overdue.

There was recently a article about Copyright in the NAR Magazine and then follow up quotes and it appears Realtors could be looking at demanding "copyright" to all photos taken inside homes so they can delete them to protect the buyers.

Don't shot the messenger, I just happen to follow this stuff. Realtor are our clients. If you are in Ca. you will want to google CCPA it's real and going to create issues starting Jan, 01.
