Video: How does licensing photos for real estate photography work? DanSmigrod 2 8 daysimmersivespaces (869): Disagree on one point, the distribution of real estate listing photos is actually very high. Listing photos can appear on hundreds, if not thousands of websites through IDX distribution. This is one area where photographers have cut themselves short. What has also driven the licensing fee down in most markets is competition from other photographers, not smaller distribution. Over the past two decades, licensing fees for real estate photos are...
Question about how to price licensing a still photo for commercial use. Richierichks 3 8 daysRichierichks (673): @immersivespaces Thank you for the very detailed response! That helps a lot!
Mattertag Video and Images CharlesHH 3 2 monthsCharlesHH (64): @Richierichks Thank you for that advice. I had a look at TinyPic. My concern with using them is that the photo content is coming from my client and was taken by a professional photographer. By posting there, they say that they have the right to distribute, sell, use etc any content posted. Interesting about the Vimeo as prices for each program increase rapidly. A Euro is currently 0.87 of a US$ €6/month Plus €16/month Pro €40/month...
Mattertag image update (hosting) imad 6 3 monthsMetroplex360 (8983): Fun fact. If you use DropBox and embed an image with ?raw=1 at the end, after 24 hours, it's updated with a direct link to the image that is then broken because the URL is not a fixed thing. It's all embed.ly's fault and their doing, not Matterport's beyond them using embed.ly.
MLS Image Parameters leeverdon 3 11 monthsimmersivespaces (869): MLS services vary on what they accept for image sizes. Your best bet is to contact your local MLS provider and ask to speak to the person who manages it. We have 6 different MLS providers in our area, and each is different. One of them here will not accept images larger than 720x680 (which I personally find ludicrous). In most cases, the MLS service will accept any file size for upload and they will automatically process the file to the size...
