Hi all. I did a scan for a property yesterday and the door to the basement stuck out into the hallway, so I had to open and close it. Now the tour is getting stalled at that position.... any suggestions?

Hi there,

I had this similar problem. Best to disable the scan which shows the door shut. See screenshot of scan below.

In the capture app, use the trim marking tool to trim out the object that's blocking a hallway. You will want to create a box around the object with the arrows pointing inward. This will remove the 3D object from the 3D model. Then reupload for processing.

@lcorbett

Here is a video I made at my home about opening and closing doors in scans. If you go to about 7:30 you will see the capture app and how to do it. I went outside and was unable to pass through to go outside. I had to use the trim tool trick to get outside. I hope this helps you!

And if your space allows for it, take the door off it's hinges. Extreme, yes, but I've scanned 2 places where the trim thing did not work so I went back, removed the door and rescanned. Problem solved.
