I'm considering purchasing a Matterport and just had a couple of questions. I just noticed that apparently come this June there's going to another $19 fee on top of the regular processing fee to make the tours compatible with 3D glasses. Is that true, and if so why? Do most of you plan on raising your prices $19 to make up for that? Also, for those of you that do real estate do you offer and do you have clients that may only want to do one or two rooms, like maybe a really cool master BR or bonus room or something like that? Thanks |

We never offer to do it in 1 or two rooms at a discounted price. If you want to pay us full price and then ask use to do that, we'd be happy to. But because matterport charges, drive time, gas money, and my time all add up to why I charge what we do. I have don't this for builders and remodels. Charger them 1 bundle price for a before and after of their remodel. But remember with them they are expected it hosted for many months or years.

I'm never planning on purchasing CoreVR. I do not anticipate any of my clients requesting it. We'll see. If Google Daydream takes off this year and adoption is high, it might become more than what I see as a gimmick. I think Matterport should keep CoreVR free At WGA, many of us have discussed several opinions including that CoreVR should be a free feature for certain monthly plans with Matterport. |

I have never shown anyone a 3d tour, Hell I haven't seen one! I am with metroplex and think it is a gimmick. I honestly don't think they will charge for it either. It was suppose to go away Jan 1 or something. It is just like their camera on sale, that might go off sale but it doesn't keep retail price for long. Now it is $900 off and I wouldn't be surprised if they offer more in the future. |

It would be silly for Matterport to stop offering the free VR conversion. I like that its there, but there's no way that I would pay extra for it. As @Metroplex360 indicated, it should be a complementary bonus feature for those who have more than the basic hosting plan. |

I have used CoreVR once and in South-Africa people is very slow on VR uptake, let alone normal 3D tours, so I would not pay extra when (if) they start charging,

VR is still 3-5 years from prime time if at all. I think it video games will be the biggest use. Video will be second and from there I don't know what else. VR is extremely awesome and give a real sense of being in the space but the additional hardware to view it is the sticking point.
