Hi All, Text Neck Overuse Syndrome is a modern spine aliment injury. Neck pain is caused by frequent and prolonged looking at smartphones, tablets and other devices. CNN reported that the smartphone is a pain in the neck, as early as 2012. The Daily Mail reported in 2015, "The rise of 'iPad Neck'" Tablets put Three Times as Much Strain on Our Muscles as Desktop Computers" I could imagine starring at an iPad all day scanning - or our smartphones - can cause some health challenges. Three Questions: 1. What health issues are you experiencing from scanning, if any? 2. What are you doing differently to avoid these health issues? 3. Are you being treated? physical therapy? massage? Acupuncture? Exercise? Wow, thank you for posting this subject. I am the poster boy for who you don't want to be. I am under doctors care as we speak with 3 epidorals and one nerve block procedure under live x-ray. You don't want to be me. I Ave been told by all the doctors that a apedemic of neck and nerve damage on at least a national level because of cell phone and tablet use by the masses. Quick solution is to hold your devise at eye level (extremely hard to do) so you are not bent over at the neck. My advise to all give up photography and become a orthopedic surgeon, business will be booming soon (just a joke) the syndrome is real. Be careful you don't want to me |

Can you take one for the team by interviewing your doctor about the challenges of looking down at an iPad all day and the doctor's recommendations for the community of Matterport Spaces 3D Tour Pros? Best, Dan |
