I am at the stage of planning a large scan that we have received approval to complete. We walked the space yesterday and noted a number of Whiteboard walls that client uses for notes..this is highly proprietary information..also a number of walls that were plastered with post it notes.. My question..as this information cannot be made public is there a manner/process available to us where we could blur or block this out so competing clients would not be able to read the whiteboard or post it notes??..feedback appreciated...Thank You. @Integratedman There is no supported method of editing the images. Can the tour still work with those images disabled? Otherwise, the only ways to accomplish violate terms of service. 1. MirrorFix method shown on Matterapps. Requires a proxy. For security concerns, I would need to build out my PrivatePort concept which allows a tour to be viewed when not set to public by using a read only collaborator token. Total TOS violation. 2. Self hosted tour with edited images. There is a stand alone Matterport tour viewer that exists that I am unaffiliated with and that I would not recommend using publicly. 3. Reshoot those areas. Make sure the client recognizes that they should have removed these items. |

I get this with clients personal information. I had one house where the owner was a police murder investigator and had documents and photo's all over her wall (aka csi style) I just didn't scan in there in preference to disabling it. I let them know before hand and if concerned get them to sign a quote or contract with that information on there. |

Msp and csi. Interesting combination. I don't think my "the Butler did it" would work | ||

@Integratedman, I agree with @Metroplex360: see if the tour still works with those images disabled. It happened to me in the past when I had to scann the offices of our National Nuclear Energy company What I did was to scan the whole place and later I disabled the scanning points closer to the sensitive desks showing documents that could not be seen by the general public. |
