Forum Founder DanSmigrod private msg quote post Address this user

How may miles do you walk a day doing Matterport scans? Enough to make your feet ache?

I my walking shoes so much, I wrote an entire article about them:

Atlanta Matterport Photographer Expects to Walk Nearly 1,000 Miles in 2015

These shoes are like walking on air!

Still time to add to your holiday shopping list.

Best,

Dan

You know, I liked Dan's post -- it only lacked a link to Amazon. I liked yours too, I laughed and then felt horrible for doing so.

@RenderingSpace is why threaded systems like Reddit are so wonderful.

@Metroplex360 I felt horrible too but Dan drives me literally insane sometimes (bless his heart) and I can't help it.

Hi All,

Disposable Shoe Covers are on the We Get Around Matterport Gear and Accessories Shopping List. (#11)

When I scanned a water-damaged home for an insurance claim, I wore disposable shoe covers to show respect to the homeowner (even though the water-soaked carpet was to be removed.

Our team ALWAYS wears disposable shoe covers. In addition to to keeping the property clean, agents/brokers/homeowners notice and appreciate this attention to detail and respect for the property.

Happy holidays,

Dan

P.S. Because I wore disposable shoe covers when starting a 3-day Matterport Spaces 3D Tour shoot of the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, the head of the National Park Service in Atlanta gave me an okay to scan spaces that the public does not get to go, including the pulpit where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his sermons and the balcony.
