| Hi All, WP3D Models WordPress Plugin Developer @rptersn gave me permission to share these screen grabs with you that show how a Matterport Spaces 3D Tour looks --> play button <-- when posted to social media - via WP3D Models. Ross let me know that he will include this feature in the next update of WP3D Models (coming soon). This is another reason that we consider WP3D Models an essential tool for any Matterport Service Provider and include the free use of it with Standard Membership in the We Get Around Referral Network. | Dan: I have run into the issue with Facebook where when I post a Matterport and it has the "Video Launch Icon" they make it so you can not boost or advertise it. Seems Facebook does not consider that a valid "trigger" as they do not recognize Matterport as a video. There was also another post on this subject today. Any words or ideas around this. George. |

| Dan: I am pretty sure you can get away with posting the picture if it is not boosted or advertised but then there is the linking issue. I talked to Matterport about this and they told me 4 months ago this was frequently brought up. Here is the thing if you sent them to the model they have to start the Matterport. And then getting the people back to the agent from the Matterport is difficult. Most agents understand they need that contact possibility and they need it easy, for the buyer / viewer. |

| Hi all... Thanks for the notes here, couple/few clarifications. It is entirely possible that Facebook will not allow one to BOOST a post where there is a "play" button on the image. My understanding is that Facebook interprets the "play" icon as VIDEO and is trying to prevent click-bait where the end result link doesn't really line up to what is being shared. Assuming this is the case, I'd bet that most Matterport users (& Matterport themselves) are likely to disagree with the FB interpretation of when a "play" button is valid or not...and what constitutes "video" or not. To me, what we'll soon be offering as part of WP3D Models is a 100% valid use of the "play" button. In any case, this overlay image could be any image really. Does anyone have ideas for a different overlay image? Or, should we roll with the "play" image? Standing by! |

| Just saying... sometimes if you cut the opacity of the Video launch icon, you can get past the Auto Screener. You can also write the HEADLINE.. to something like "CLICK & SEE THE MOVIE" Were there is a will there is a way!... Think out of the box... g. |
