| Read some old threads and I've become confused.. I am using a Air 2 16G.. can I store some scans on the cloud to free up some space on the physical Ipad? About to upgrade.. but wanted to investigate this option first.. Thanks in advance! |

| I have been playing with iExplorer and taking the jobs off and putting on my computer. We are using two 32gig iPad mini 2's right now. I just got a 256gig iPad 9.7 pro and am going to try moving the jobs from the mini's to the pro and see if they are recognized. Each mini has a different user on the same account so will see how it works. Will update shortly. The using iCloud backup is when you fill up the free data plan, Dan says to make a new username and start fresh with the iPad. To restore previous scans you have to reset iPad and then relog in with the username that has the scan you want on it. I hope I explained this well. |

| The merging of the two iPad Minis did not work. The database could not be merged as there were duplicate keys. So I have stored the models as backups under different folders. I can restore each one separately but cannot have all of my models in one place. The only thing that I would worry about as was mentioned before is if they change the database structure in a future release of the capture app you may not be able to access your past models. But that is an issue with doing multiple accounts with iCloud backup too. | ||
