Manipulate 3D on website2030

On the page:

It appears that we can make 3D-images of houses and furniture and then place one inside another using desktop 3D-modeling software.

The question is: can we do the same, but online? We want to create a website so the web visitor could select a house and then place a furniture inside where he wishes.
Do you know, does any web technology exist that can help us?

Is this for photography or for the actual tour? Question is can you stage a .OBJ file by converting and keep the model interactive? I was in a meeting this morning and this actually came up.

Another question is can the .obj file be converted to .cad or any other architectural software.

Finally I was asked if we could deal with light adjustments overlay to balance light as a photo?

I will clarify the question.
Suppose your wife is in Australia. You are in NYC and you bought a new house.
You want to allow your wife to design the home interior remotely.
You are a web-programmer and want to do it on a website.
You take a 3D-photo of the house and also you go to the furniture store and take 3D pictures of various items like tables, sofas etc...
Then you upload all this to a website and say your wife: go to that URL and there you can just place everything wherever you want.
So she can take a sofa (using a mouse) and place it in a particular position on the first floor, then take a table and place it somewhere else etc...
Is it possible?

@3Dwalkmethru It´s not possible to do staging within the matterport realm (yet). Using matterport as a design tool is often refered to as the holy grail of matterport functionality. They have shown a video back in 2014, but we´re still waiting to see anything being demoed IRL.
