Listing goes to another broker? Matterport? DanSmigrod 15 20 hoursDanSmigrod (15124): @jasondavidpage My bad judgement likely cost me $2,833 in re-licensing and risk loosing a (very) good client. I would encourage WGAN Members to follow your lead - and @immersivespaces - to maximize value. While we just scratched the surface on re-licensing, I could imagine some Community Members have re-licensed to the home seller (vanity) and the home buyer. I actually do not have licensing terms and conditions. Our point of view is that...

How do you add your copyright info to GSV? 3SixtyNow 4 25 daysTrustedPhotoDC (742): @3SixtyNow this View shows your attribution as you point out. If you want to see a copyright, then create the embed code. ( three dots next to your attribution name shows the menu.)
Transfer Model Also Transfers Copyright? DanSmigrod 4 2 monthsGerhard (526): @DanSmigrod You beat me to it. So a new week starts again. I don't believe this escaped them at all. They need to find ways to word things differently but still do the same thing. You will also see they don't refer to it anymore as photography lol. Maybe they found a very clever FINE PRINT lawyer on FIVERR and is jumping the loopholes. If this company repeats next week all over again, it will be very worrying. But don't we as the...
Sorry Matterport frstbubble 6 2 monthsMetroplex360 (7786): Revising the TOS to comply with International Law might be a great excuse to fix the things that I think were unnecessary to achieve Matterport's goals. I think that this could have been accomplished without the TOS being amended and without scaring everyone. Matterport have great ideas, just reckless methods to accomplish them that ultimately won't make much of a difference to all of the people who are scared and angry.

Matterport: Personal data and authority DanSmigrod 3 10 monthsdtavres (106): I'm also not a lawyer, but I'm very doubtful that Matterport will ever sue a photographer who: a) Bought a camera for $3,000+, b) Paid for the processing and hosting, c) Took the photos, d) Sold the final product to clients The bad press Matterport would get would likely KILL sales of new cameras, which would also cause a potential buyout from Google/Facebook/etc. to be looked at twice, AND would likely also KILL the market for Real...
Ownership of Matterport Models WarrenVandal 4 3 yearsalx3D (715): I talked about this to Paul at MP before purchasing the camera and I would suggest everyone do the same. We own the content we produce but they do not have let us access it unless we pay them. When you scan something it is like taking a picture. The copyright belongs to you. MP is like a storage shed that stores your stuff. The stuff inside is yours but you have to pay to access it.
Creative Commons Rights? YairYepez 3 4 yearsccctucker (154): This was brought up on another forum, these scans give "bad guys" a map of the house, to include where expensive items can be located. I think what they want to advertise they have would be no different than if panoramics were taken and advertised online.
